Whine and Wine Wednesday!

Workout:  1 mile warm up at 10:30 pace / 3 - 1 mile repeats @ 9:00 (or under) pace

I was proud of us this morning.  It was a speed workout day and we rocked it!  It was tough, and for a moment we considered not running the final mile, but we did it.  Mile one of our mile repeats was run at an 8:45 pace.  Super fast for us.  Our average, with the warm up was 4 miles at 9:25. We also walked about a mile total between the repeats.

Now onto the whining....

Constipation.  That is today's issue.  And yesterdays.  And the day before.  Um yeah, what can I say?  Wish it would go away.

So perhaps I will put a spoon of this into my wine tonight...

And about that wine.

Last night Doug said we had no "drinkable wine."  How come we never seem to have any "drinkable wine"?  This is a problem.  We have a semi-stocked cellar that holds 200+ bottles of wine and none of them are drinkable?

This is the same face I get every time my "purple zone" of the wine cellar is empty.  Which, by the way, is ALWAYS!

I will drink wine tonight.

You think Doug will notice if I'm in disguise.  Sneaking into the living room.  In the dark.  With a flashlight.

Nah!

Stay tuned to part 2 of Whine and Wine Wednesday to see what wine I successfully loot from the cellar!  Exciting!

Expensive wine and Miralax.  I wonder if I should still swirl and sniff before drinking?

What's your whine for the week?  What wine do you plan on looting this evening?

  1. I guess I could whine about being way too incredibly fast. So fast that it's hard for passerby's to see my incredibly awesome rock star bod. Ugh! It's so hard to be me!

  2. Please make dinner before you go poo due to the RunnerLax Sauvignon blend.

  3. Try replacing that glass of wine with a glass of coffee! Gets me every time! ;)

And awesome run! Sounds like my mile repeats. Often I tell myself, "Just one more and then you can bail." Usually I find this works for every mile and I end up getting them all done.
