It's a Nice Day for a White Wedding

Workout:  3 easy miles at 10:48 pace.  It was insanely  windy.  Gusts 22 to 38 mph.  At times it was like you were running in place with the wind pushing you back.  I'm sure this is great training.  For what, I don't know.

Randee mentioned that today is her 3rd wedding anniversary.  Ahhh.

Get ya some.
The wedding was in my backyard.

Not sure which I would rather have right now.  A piece of that cake or the beer sitting on the table.

The patio when the wedding started.  We lucked out and the weather was great.
There were twinkle lights everywhere when the sun went down.
The funniest part of the evening.  Well there were a few.  The groom's brother gave a speech that ended with "let's get this party started."  He then did a cannon ball into the pool.  In the freezing water.  In his suit.

Then there were all kinds of keg games.  Keg stands.  Going in circles around the keg to see how many laps you could do.  It was a good party.

Randee and me at her bachelorette party.  It was way more tame than the bachelor party.  We did not get kicked out of any bars.  Heck, I don't even think went to a bar.  We need a do over!
As I was looking for the wedding pictures I happened upon these random images.

This was Audrie getting her ears pierced.  What was she saying to have me making that face?

Redneck Easter egg hunt.  Who's great idea was it to put the eggs on a barbed wire fence.  That seems safe.

What the heck is Trent doing here?
That's all I got.

Happy Tuesday!

Where was your wedding?  If you could do it over would you do it the same or different?  I'm talking about the wedding details, not the groom! :)

If I did it over I would totally get married on the beach.  The party was fun, but barefoot in the sand at sunset would be perfect!

  1. Well, now that you took the groom changing part out. Sheesh. :-) I got married at Mandalay Bay in Vegas. I would definitely do it again, exactly the same way. I had SO much fun.

Actually, I take that back...I would have stayed in Vegas 1 or 2 more days before leaving for my honeymoon. Good thing I'm going back for the RnR Half this year.

  2. I would love to get married on the beach too or something very small. We got married young, 24-years-old and that's young to me. We had the big party, big dress, lots of people, etc, etc. At the time my dad said, "Take the money and run!" We should have done just that and had something small. Still had a good time and still in love after all these years (14 to be exact.)
