Whine and Wine Wednesday

Marathon Training Week 13 - Day 3

The always fun....'let Jillian Michael's give it to you up the butt' day. My least favorite day of the week!

As you can tell from this super attractive "jiggly thigh" picture, I was jumping for joy to workout this morning. At least we took the workout in doors. Trying to find the positive here!
Jillian's biggest fan is always smiling on Wednesday! Bitch. However I do love the colors of her outfit. That's what I wanted for Chicago. See Whine below for more on this topic!
We moved up to Level 2 on the Thirty Day Shred. It sucked butt. Two words...Plank Jacks. Worst. Idea. Ever.

WHINE:

Well, I'm pretty sure I was already doing that. So let me continue.

Let's get the obvious out of the way.

110 degrees today. Perfect. I'm pretty sure the Weather Alert today said "Don't pass gas outside today due to high probability of igniting a fire out of your ass." It's so dang hot.
Sit back down. I'm not done whining.

I cleaned out closets yesterday. It's rather ridiculous how much stuff I bagged up. I have it posted on Craigslist, but I really think I'm just going to load it up and drop it at Goodwill. I would have a garage sale, but please see the temps above. Making .50 for a shirt is not worth sweating to death in 107 degrees.
We have so outgrown our house. I'm having to get very creative with organization. I have gone through both of the kids rooms and now I'm working on my room. The kitchen is next. Declutter is the word of the day.

I'm also whining because YOU have not entered into our very first giveaway! Visit HERE for a chance to win a free iFitness belt.

You will thank me later!
Okay, last whine of the day. Promise.

This is our Chicago Marathon outfit. I love it, I really do. However the color is WAY different than it looks online.
This is the picture from the Skirtsports website. It looks like a true RED. In reality the shirt is more of a maroon.
I would really like to be BRIGHT at the marathon.

Something more like this!
What to do, what to do?

Okay, I'm officially done whining.

WINE!

Something really strange has happened this week.

Yes, it's weird the wine is in the refrigerator rather than the wine cellar. But what is even stranger is that this bottle has been open since Monday and only half gone! That never happens!
Since we have some new readers let me reintroduce the wine cellar.

I think we need to give the cellar a name. I'm taking suggestions.
See the purple tape? That tape outlines the very limited area that I'm allowed to grab wine from. It's usually empty, but thanks to me and Target it has a few bottles today!l
If you're curious about those other hundreds of bottles of wine, they are "special" bottles my husband has purchased. I do get to drink them when 'the time is right'. Some are 2000 and 2002 vintages he is aging for our children's birth years. Others are 1998 vintage to be drank on our anniversaries.

Happy Whine and Wine Wednesday!

What's your WHINE and WINE for the week?
What's your name suggestion for the wine cellar?

  3. my whine is that it is freezing in my office - is there any need to make us shiver at 69 degrees?!

my wine of the week would have to be the Cupcake Chardonnay I just tried, and similar to you, am surprised it still has two glasses left in my fridge!

  6. Ahhh. I am a crazy nut who thinks I need to coordinate my shoes with my outfit, but the last race I was at a girl had on some neon green Newtons that I thought were too cool for school. Not sure how the fit is tho, Im normally an Asics or Nike girl.

  8. LOVE that skirt. Where are your skirts from again? You said they had panties instead of shorts underneath? I hate the shorts.

My whine - THE RAIN. I know, Iknow - you want some. PLEASE TAKE IT. I swear my lawn has grown 5inches in the past 2 days. It always hits when I'm driving home and it's completely insane!

I took a few nights off of wine this week too. I think I might need to pick up a bottle tonight though.

  12. I fully support any of these marathon ideas .... since I pretty much own those same clothes! I just got 2 of those shirts from SkirtSports and I want to live in them all the time. And the skirts? Yeah, that's what I always wear if I'm not at work ... but just wait, that's gotta happen eventually!

I think if I lived where it is that hot and worked out with Jillian I would probably be screaming very bad words at here before the workout was over!
