Dang, We Look Good!

P90X - Day 4.  Today was Kenpo X.  I really like this workout.  It goes by super fast and works up a good sweat.  I'm pretty sure after 90 days I will be able to kick Randee's ass.

I took pictures of myself in a bikini.  Well, actually I made Doug take them.  Front.  Side.   Back.  Oh my, let's not talk about the backside.  SCARY.  Anyway, the pictures will only see the light of day if I have a freaking, 'make the preacher have naughty thoughts' body when this is all said and done.  I'm sure hoping that happens!

My elimination diet is going well.  The past two days I was insanely tired.  I think it was a combination.  New workout program.  Getting used to early morning workouts again.  Dang Texas seasonal allergies.  Detox diet.  And the always fun, that time of the month.  All of those colliding was just a grand ol' time.  However, I woke up this morning feeling much more like myself and with energy.  Hopefully things only get better from here!

Saturday, Sunday and Monday I will post a bloggiversary year in review.  It's going to be pretty much the best thing you have seen since Kirk Cameron was on Growing Pains.

Oh how I used to love me some Kirk!
Anyway, for your viewing pleasure today I thought I would give you some of the most attractive pictures from the past year.  I'm pretty sure that once everyone sees how good marathon training made Randee and me look they will be signing up for every 26.2 they can find.  I mean really, it takes hard work to look this good.

I would have included Little Brittany and Miss Thang, but they just didn't look bad good enough!  It takes a real woman to look that dang sexy.  Good thing we are doing Kenpo X to learn to fight off all the men!

And for those of you who aren't convinced yet that marathon training is the best beauty secret ever.  How about the fact that we both gained 10 pounds.  If that doesn't make you lace up your shoes and start running I don't know what will!

  1. You guys are hilarious.

I have before pictures from when I started New Rules of Lifting for Women. They're very sad. Then I hurt my shoulder on my bike, stopped lifting, and probably now look worse. If there's ever improvement (vast imprivement(, maybe I'll post them.
